Before getting your child(ren) enrolled in the program, please read and comply with the following admission rules:

  1. The students of Primary School IPS of the Asian International School will be directly admitted into the Middle & High School AHS of the Asian High School under the Group of Asian International Education (GAIE).
  2. Other students must pass the entrance English test to be placed in an appropriate level of the International English Program.
  3. The student’s result in the entrance English test will determine the level they will be placed in. The levels are in ascending order from Starter to TOEFL.
  4. Students unable to pass a level due to not meeting the required studying time at the school or failing at a level progression exam will be given a School Record detailing their academic performance in the International English Program.
  5. During their time at Asian International School, students must strictly abide by the school’s rules and regulations, be well-behaved, friendly with peers, polite towards teachers, and respectful of older people. Students must attend class regularly, be attentive to their learning progress, and take part in all examinations, extracurricular and club activities organized by the school.
  6. Starting from 2021-2022 school year, in addition to the existing AERO and Common Core State Standards program, high-school students at the Asian International School may opt for the Advanced Placement (AP) program by College Board.
AP program features advanced subjects preparing the students for college-level curriculum, enabling them to obtain some university credits while still in high school. AP subjects are recognized by most American universities and colleges, as well as many other institutions around the world. AP credits make for an outstanding application for scholarship or undergraduate programs overseas.
  7. Every year, middle-school students may register for the KET, PET by Cambridge University (the UK), the TOEFL Junior by Educational Testing Service (ETS), or other English proficiency exams by foreign testing and assessment organizations. High-school students may register for the FCE exam by Cambridge University (the UK) or other English proficiency exams by foreign testing and assessment organizations.
  8. Up to the end of the 11th grade, students of the Asian International School may register for the TOEFL iBT exam by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
The rules and prizes (if any) for each exam will be specified before the test dates.
  9. Starting from 2017-2018 school year, the International English Program students who complete all levels from Starter to TOEFL Intermediate without any disruption or repetition of any level during their time studying will be given High School Diploma, a certificate of International English Program completion.
