The campus final round of AHS Idol 2012-2013
In the morning of November 20th 2012, the campus final round of AHS Idol took place at all AHS campuses. The contest was a helpful and rewarding event that helped students be confident, active and develop their talents and passion for singing.

In the campus final round, there were more than 80 impressive performances including solo, duo, choir, modern dance, and opera, which were about school, teachers, family and friends. The students showed interests and highly participated in “AHS Idol”. All the rounds, from the preliminary to the semi-final rounds, were in careful preparation. Students spent all their free time choosing songs, costume, practicing dance to achieve the highest result in the campus final round.

The preparation for costume, performances, beautiful voices and exciting singing styles made the campus final round successful. Many impressive performances such as “Rolling in the deep”, “Safe and sound”, “Good time”, “DJ got us falling in love”… won the applause from the audience.

Students also showed loves for their teachers by singing songs “Người Thầy” and “Mái trường mến yêu”on the occasion of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. Especially, the most impressive drama, “A visit to our beloved school”, portrayed extremely emotional images of teachers: with loving hearts, not afraid of difficulties, always taking care of students, providing them good things and helping them succeed in life.With the careful preparation for costumes, props, together with flexible acting skills, the play brought the most profound human values for all audience.

In addition, there were many modern dancing performances in the final round. Lively dance steps together with funny songs got audiencerespond with excitement and applause.

The dancing performance of two honor guests My An and Minh Truong – Gold medal of Youth Nation Championship and Gold medal of International Open Dance Sport Championship – made good impression on audiences. This performance achieved a big round of applause.

Besides, to celebrate Vietnamese Teacher’s Day, there were also performances of AHS teachers in the final round. The performance won the applause of students and parents.

The campus final round ended in success. The best performances of this round will compete in the school final round on January 1st 2013. "AHS Idol" is a helpful venue that gives students opportunities to show their singing talents and confidence. Throughout the contest, students experienced nervousness, happiness when their performances were judged and regretful when they did not really get the attention of the audience. However, these experiences will become unforgettable memories for them during the time they study at the AHS.
