  • Curriculum:

IPS & AHS students have full day school time: morning for the Vietnamese Program and afternoon for the International Program, designed on the K-12 education standards of American Education Reaches Out (AERO) and Common Core State Standards.

The Asian International School students gain English proficiency and knowledge equivalent to students in developed countries. All students, especially IPS students, learn moral values and student discipline through lessons in class and extracurricular activities such as moral instruction, handwriting practice, reading about famous events in Vietnamese history, painting contests, card designing with a wide range of topics to express their gratitude to the parents and the teachers, role playing as a teacher, celebrating traditional festivals, etc.

After graduating from high school, students will be able to transfer to prestigious universities in English speaking countries, such as the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, etc. (if students' parents wish them to do so), or study at The Saigon International University, a member of The Group of Asian International Education.

  • Extra-curricular activities:

The Asian International School attaches significance to students’ participation in clubs and extracurricular activities.

Extracurricular events are held throughout the school year, creating a lively and attractive environment for students to study and play.

The Asian International School provides an environment in which students are encouraged to express and develop their character. It is also a place where students’ ideas and creativity are continually nurtured and promoted.

All students are eager to join in extracurricular activities, and clubs such as Academic clubs, Art clubs (Drama, Music, Fine Arts), Charity clubs and Sports clubs. Middle & High school students' participation is recognized by the issuance of school certificates at the end of each year. The certificates, together with academic transcripts in the Vietnamese and International English programs are valuable for students who wish to transfer to prestigious universities in the future.

  • Summer program abroad:

Annually, students of The Group of Asian International Education can choose to join the summer study abroad program in June and July. Cooperating with prestigious international education organizations, students take the opportunity to experience quality education systems for one or two months in developed countries such as the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, etc.

Studying abroad helps students to practice their English as well as to widen their knowledge and life experience, not only through lessons in class but also in practical situations such as having lunch with their friends, participating in daily activities, or discovering the cities in which they are staying. Students will have a chance to share their cultural values, make friends with many other students from different countries, internalize cultural similarities or differences, learn from each other and understand different lifestyles as well as train themselves to be independent.

This is also an opportunity for students to integrate into world education and to prepare for studying abroad in the future.
