Mid-Autumn Festival

“Mid-autumn Festival” is one of many special traditional festivals that are held annually in order to help students promote traditional values of Vietnam. This festival has attracted special attention from all students. A lantern-making contest is the main activity in the event. Prior to the contest, students consult with their friends and teachers about the designs of their lanterns. All works are considered, assessed and rated by the Panel of Judges according to the following criteria: creativity, uniqueness and humanitarian meaning shown in their presentations. Winning lanterns are exhibited on campus for one week or sent to poor children, depending on the students’ wishes.

Holding the “Mid-Autumn Festival”, the school wants to bring joy and inspiration into students’ school life and facilitate their self-expression.
