2022 International Scholarships | Missouri University of Science and Technology

The predecessor of the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) was the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, founded in 1870 as the first technological institution west of the Mississippi, and one of the first in the nation. In 1964, the form changing from "school" to "university" reflected major changes in the campus programs, which were the expansion to the full range of engineering and scientific training. In January 2008, the campus became the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T)

Missouri S&T’s College of Engineering and Computing features 18 engineering and computing undergraduate degree programs, while our College of Arts, Sciences, and Education offers a vibrant mix of liberal arts and humanities, biological and physical sciences, education, behavioral sciences, and military science disciplines. And our newest college -- the Kummer College of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development -- infuses a spirit of innovation into business, economics, engineering management, and information science and technology programs.
